After the raffle, we’ll hold the Shipley Rifle Challenge. Entry is $10 per gun, and you can enter both divisions:
Under 12 lbs rifles.
Over 12 lbs rifles.
Course of fire:
Starting unloaded, standing with hands on the table, you’ll shoot from the bench:
One cold bore at the Egg unknow distance
One shot at 200 yards
One shot at 300 yards
One shot at 400 yards
One shot at 500 yards
Five shots at the Know Your Limits target at 500 yards
You’ll have a maximum of 10 shots. If you miss the steel targets, you stop. Hit all four, and you’ll win a BRGC hat! The shooter with the most points on the Know Your Limits target wins a prize in each division, with time serving as the tiebreaker.
We’ll have flashing LEDs on the steel targets and a Target Cam on the Know Your Limits target so everyone can follow the action. Download the BullseyeCam app on your phone or tablet to watch the target camera.
The shots themselves aren’t necessarily the hard part. It’s the timer, the pressure, and having everyone watching that make it interesting!
